I love me some pretty stationery. Say hello to Studio Sarah; a fine mix of minimalistic luxury, the British stationery brand is the brainchild of Sarah Silver. Pastels, stripped or dotted, take your pick!

Enter the world of Candy Chang – artist, designer, TED Senior Fellow, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, the list really does go on. Candy uses public spaces, public art and human engagement to create community projects. The outcome is always something to think about. In this case, it’s her newest project, Write A Confession – “a place where people could write and submit their confessions on wooden plaques in the privacy of confession booths. Candy hung the anonymous plaques on the gallery walls each day and painted select responses on large canvases.” My favourite is this one – “I still love her. 2 girlfriends and 5 years later.”
I don’t usually post designs of wedding invites but these are too cute. Designed by Adam Hill, duckies cordially invite you to the wedding of Simon and Simone. The directions and the dress code are my favourite. How nice to receive such fun invitations – just imagine the wedding!
“Gongdreen believes that when everyday objects meet the right design, it can change the cold to warm and the ordinary to special.” That’s a liner from Gongdreen’s site and it really is true. A table filled with fun stationery like this makes every day at work play doesn’t it? Eyeing both the rainbow tape and the silver cloud.
In celebration of the weekend approaching, here are postcards of the monochromatic mystique and colours of passion that are Paris. Concept store Colette commissioned Parisian graphic designer Leslie David for postcards depicting Parisian scenery. I love the stark contrast of old photographs against the mush of thick paints. I want these!
Even after tremendous heartbreak, I am still a romantic. Which is why it was lovely to stumble upon these neon billboards by contemporary artist Tracey Emin. Set up in the heart of Times Square, her exhibition of billboards titled “I Promise to Love You” can be viewed every night for the month of February from 11:57 PM to midnight. Such lovely words to light up the night with. Sigh.
How apt to post about celebrities in light of the recent Oscars! I found these really interesting mosaic photographs of celebs by Maurizio Galimberti. How clever right? I’d like to have one some day.
Windows are beautiful things. Capture by Graphic Designer Jose Guizar, these illustrated windows are a great idea that was just waiting to happen.
